Jeramy Zimmerman:
Take the Stage's Artistic Director
Jeramy brings decades of teaching experience to her new role. Her teaching credentials include working with AileyCamp Baltimore, creating educational materials for the Kennedy Center, being a teaching artist in the New York City public schools, and 20 years of teaching yoga and meditation to court-involved youth. She has worked to inspire and uplift students through dance. She is thrilled to synthesize her knowledge and practices into leading Take the Stage.
Jeramy is a dance maker, performer, and producer. Since returning to Kansas City from New York City in 2016, she has continued to create work and build community. She currently co-produces Making Moves with Kyle Mullins and recently complete a Charlotte Street Artist Residency.
